Ariel was born in Camaguey, Cuba in 1983. He lives and works in New York. He graduated from the Fine Arts Academy, Camaguey, Cuba and Higher Institute of Art (ISA), Havana, Cuba. His works have been exhibited at Pinta Fair, Mana Contemporary Convention Center, Art Wynwood, MiamiArt Attack. His solo exhibtions include; Resiliencias ”La otra Cuba” in the building at the Northeast Minneapolis Arts District, “Cachita: The Infinite Lightness of Being” The Olga M. and Carlos Saladrigas Gallery, Miami, "Analogias” Instituto Superior de Arte (ISA), Havana, Cuba. His most prominent group exhibitions include; The Copyist Program, The Metropolitan Museum of Art, New York, Nueva Era Magazine, Mexico, D.F., “Un enigma antropológico” Galería Alejo Carpentier, Camaguey, Cuba, "Protmen, alguien tenía que proponérselo” Galería Alejo Carpentier, Camaguey, Cuba, and “Prótesis Mentales” Galería Miranda, Camaguey, Cuba. His works are in prominent private collections in USA, Spain and México.
