MARITZA DE QUESADA
BIOGRAPHY
Maritza De Quesada was born in Puerto Rico and later moved to Miami, Florida where she currently resides. She studied Photography and Communications at the University of Miami.
After graduating, she worked as an avid editor working in numerous TV commercials, music videos and short films. Maritza also wrote and directed a short film I’d rather be crazy than boring that has been shown in a variety of film festivals in USA.
As a visual artist, her works have been exhibited in NY, Miami and Europe. De Quesada combines her studies of spirituality and metaphysics to create mystical powerful illusions that challenge the way we see the world. Her work is an ongoing exploration of the energy within us and around us, the vibrations and frequencies we cannot see but affects us in different ways.
De Quesada’s recent works, neon text and mirrors, are intended to provoke and inspire the viewer with aspirational and uplifting messages design to yield into the subconscious mind.
